WASHINGTON -- Three Hoosiers will be trying to drown out the cheers of President Barack Obama when the Indianapolis Colts play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.Reps. Baron Hill, Andre Carson and Brad Ellsworth accepted Obama’s invitation to watch the Super Bowl game with him at the White House.Obama has expressed a slight preference for the Saints because, he said, of what the team means to New Orleans and the difficulties the city went through after Hurricane Katrina.Hill spokeswoman Katie Moreau said the congressman’s presence is “pretty crucial considering the president is rooting for the Saints, and we need to make sure the cheers for the Colts are louder and stronger.”
When (or I daresay if) Baron Hill actually speaks up and cheers for the Colts, it will be the first time he has verbally disagreed with Barack Obama on anything.
Judging by Baron's body language and facial expression in this photo, it appears that he recognizes this as the kiss of death! However, given Baron's hubris and disdain for his constituents, I could very well be wrong.
