A group opposed to health care legislation before Congress hopes to draw hundreds of like-minded protesters to a rally at the Indiana Statehouse.
Indiana Republican Rep. Mike Pence is scheduled to speak at the Indianapolis Tea Party event that it's dubbing as a "Kill the Bill" Rally. It begins at 4:30 p.m. Monday on the south steps of the Statehouse.
A member of the group's steering committee, Diane Hubbard of Mooresville, says previous so-called "flash rallies" against the health care bill have drawn up to 500 people.
The White House and senior Democrats hope to push the health care bill through Congress by next week.
Pence is chairman of the House Republican Conference.
