"I have not yet begun to fight!"

Those of us who grew up in the 50's and 60's probably remember this quote, although we may be hard pressed to remember who utterd it.  It was John Paul Jones the heroic naval figure of the Revolutionary War.

From The Naval Historical Center website:

On September 23, 1779, Jones fought one of the bloodiest engagements in naval history. Jones struggled with the 44-gun Royal Navy frigate Serapis, and although his own vessel was burning and sinking, Jones would not accept the British demand for surrender, replying, “I have not yet begun to fight.” More than three hours later, Serapis surrendered and Jones took command.

Like Jones, We The People have not yet begun to fight.  Let's pay homage to those heroes who have gone before us and helped make this country great as we move forward with our struggles against those who would suppress our liberties! -SP
