Tea Party Patriots;
This coming Saturday morning, March 26th, we are meeting with former Congressman John Hostettler. He started the Constitution Institute and is coming to Seymour to explain why he began this effort, what is included in his seven part constitution classes and to answer questions. This is a free meeting for all interested and we encourage you to attend.
From this meeting we will decide if we want to have him conduct his seven part constitution series here in the area. It has been our desire to have classes on the Constitution where we can educate the public about how this precious document has been abused and what we can do about getting the country back on track.
The meeting will be held at THE AWNING GUY business location at 1114 East 4th Street in Seymour (thanks to Jim Lucas). Starting time will be at 9:00 a.m.
Mark Holwager, organizer of the Jennings County TEA Party group, has taken the position of 9th district chairman of the Hoosiers for a Conservative Senate, an effort to replace Senator Lugar in 2012. Mark is willing to come and talk to our group about the efforts and how each one of you can help. We plan to have a later meeting with Mark as a speaker.
As many of you know, Senator Harry Reid is saying that the TEA Party movement is all but dead and will no longer be a factor. Maybe this is just wishful thinking since he barely won against a TEA Party candidate last fall. Let us not falter like Harry predicts. Let us all become even more active and recruit new members. The country needs you!
